We stayed 2 nights at this campground,and found it to be very comfortable. The sites are mostly pull-through, short, but wide enough to park tow-vehicle next to RV. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Roads and sites are all gravel. The park is on the west side of town and it is easy to drive the 20 miles to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. We would definitely return to this park.

This was the best deal of our trip! Wonderful overnight stay for a good price with our Passport America discount. We actually considered staying a day longer in order to rest up. Quiet, beautiful desert landscaping, with trees that were blooming. Downside was that there are no facilities for restrooms or showers. Restrooms at the gas station can be used, but they are not well-kept. Advertising states there is a restaurant there, but we did not see anything but snacks at the gas station.
